Modern kitchen design in a historic Mt Albert home
We installed this modern design in a wonderfully restored Mt Albert historic home. Our speciality is designing innovatively within challenging small spaces. Note the low windows on the hob side which had to be considered. A concealed extractor with ducting directly out the back of the cabinet facilitated additional storage above the hob. In this design the client opted to leave the space above the tall cabinets open to the very high ceiling. Works well.
We also made up a small custom cabinet to house entertainment equipment in the family area. Note the ventilation added to the side to relieve heat build up inside the cabinet.
Benchtop: Silestone 60mm Yukon.
Doors: Primemelamine White, embossed finish.
Brushed aluminium toekicks.
Blum softclose runners.
