Mixed materials in a semi-traditional style, Remuera, Auckland 2012

Mixed materials were used to great effect in this small space kitchen. Older style house in Remuera. Traditional frame style doors were mixed with Melteca Puregrain (strong texture and woodgrain). Benchtops also mixed materials: Engineered stone at the sink and hob and Formica for the peninsula in a matching colour to the Melteca doors.
Also worth noting is the stainless steel butler sink - great look but won't chip the dishes the way ceramic sinks will.
