Smith came to me and said: I want to see a Vogue look kitchen, magazine potential. They also had an interesting room layout, but I love a spatial challenge.
The kitchen area faced south, so there wasn’t enough natural light flooding through. I needed a crisp white stone and LED strips to help the light bounce around the room.
Yes, we painted their walls powder blue!! Such a classy touch that elevates the overall aesthetic of the kitchen. It’s an easy way to sneak colour into a palette without traditionally putting it in the splashback or accessories! You can always paint over it when you think it needs an update, if at all.
A few materials Used:
-Cabinet Front: Sage Doors Acrylic. Possum & Coconut Colours (matt finish) with Dark Grey cabinet carcase to match Blum Legrabox hardware
-Benchtop: Caesarstone Empira White (polished finish) and Stainless Steel (Linen finish)
Working with the designer and the team at Innovative Kitchens to realise my dream kitchen was amazing.
Firstly, the designer redesigned the layout and then presented me with possible material and colour options. Over a few meetings we refined the choices. At all times the designer was open to my personal likes and dislikes. I benefitted from her good taste in many elements of the kitchen, even down to the small things like my Zomodo tap!
The demolition and refit by the company and their associated tradesmen went very smoothly.
The new kitchen works so much better than my old one. I am loving cooking and baking in it.
