The Initial Showroom Consultation

This time is spent getting to know what you like and don’t like about your current kitchen, your vision for your new kitchen and what we can create with your space. If you are building a new house or major renovation then please bring in your architect’s plans. Alternately you can bring in photos of your existing kitchen area and some overall dimensions and we can work from those. If a site visit is required, there is a $250 incl. GST charge which would be credited to your kitchen deposit.

Concept design and presentation with price estimate

Having taken your brief we will prepare initial concept plans and a price estimate based on your budget. We will meet you in our showroom to discuss your options and the concept design to take you to the next step. At this point most clients are confident to proceed with us.

Your Commitment to working with us – Deposit

You will be presented with our Purchase Agreement and approved design. At this point the 50% deposit is payable and registered with the Kitchen Guarantee Fund to protect your deposit.

We prepare a full set of designs which involve considerable time and attention to detail to produce accurate plans and elevations, product specification for cabinetry, hardware, benchtops, splashbacks, waste bins, sinks, taps, appliances, etc and any other customisation.

Sign off Final design plans and specifications

We finalise all aspects of your design and specifications, prepare and sign off any contract variations if required, and have the project ready for manufacturing.

Manufacturing and Installation (approx 6-8 weeks) – balance paid

Your kitchen is manufactured; benchtops, accessories etc are ordered and delivery and installation and templating (if required) dates are booked. The balance of the contract price is due before delivery and paid to The Kitchen Guarantee Fund Trust Account. On delivery of the kitchen to your site, 40% is paid to Innovative Kitchens from the Kitchen Guarantee Fund.

Sign off Authorisation Completed Form

Once you are satisfied that everything has been completed according to the Purchase Agreement, you sign the Kitchen Guarantee Fund Final Balance Release Form authorising the final 10% payment to Innovative Kitchens.
